What surfaces can Prime Spray refinish?
We work on many residential surfaces including exterior siding and trim, doors, garage doors, kitchen cabinetry, interior walls and suitable brick or masonry. The exact preparation and coating system depends on the existing surface.
Do I need to replace my cabinets or doors?
Not necessarily. If the substrate is sound and suitable for refinishing, professional preparation and coating can dramatically change the appearance without full replacement.
How long does a typical project take?
Timelines depend on project size, weather, curing requirements and preparation. Your estimate should include a realistic project window for the specific work.
What type of paint or coatings do you use?
For doors and windows, we use ACRYTHANE AQUA paint with its hardener. Our caulking products include ADSEAL and DOWSIL 795. See the product photos and warranty information below. Other coatings are selected for the surface being refinished.

Do you work year-round?

ACRYTHANE AQUA — 528 021
Colourless waterborne hardener used with the coating. Paint and hardener form the finishing system; mixing and application follow the product instructions.
ADSEAL DWS
The ADSEAL product shown is used for our caulking work around doors and windows. We remove deteriorated sealant, prepare the joint, apply the selected product and tool a clean finish.
DOWSIL 795
Neutral-cure silicone building sealant. We use this product for suitable exterior joints, with careful surface preparation and a continuous, neatly tooled seal.
Our warranty and long-term performance
Prime Spray offers a 15-year warranty on door and window painting. Contact us for the written coverage and conditions applicable to your project.
Our professional caulking is intended for long-term protection, with a service life of up to 20 years depending on the product, preparation and exposure. Service life is not the same as warranty coverage; ask us which written warranty applies to your caulking project.
